Hello! I am the owner of the grey mk1. It is actually a -83. I use it as my summer dailydriver. When i boght it it has rolled almost 300.000 km. Last time i was on a roadtrip with this car i was in cratioa and back (6000km in two weeks) And today it has 364.000 km on the clock. No problem yet =).
