Essen techno classica. The biggist indoor oldtimer event in Europe. It was huge!!Never saw so much classic cars with eachother.. Glad i made the trip to Germany.. Something different this time. Oldtimers.. In Groningen there was a oldtimer show sow we went over there to see this rare breed of car enthusiasts and there cars. The German car day is held on the TT circuit Assen and all brands of German cars are welkom here. Show and shine,sprint races and drift demo's and track driving are on the programm. We went over there with 45 cars from oure club including 2 sprinters and 3 track drivers. It was an huge succes.. Here's an little impression of that day. The 5th series of Dutch trackday on the TT circuit Assen called the Vijverbergtroffee was held in the rain. Armed with an umbrella we went to the track because its always interesting to see cars racing in these conditions. Despite the rain there were some interesting cars blitzing down the track. Hello everybody.. My name is Miquel,i'm 32 years and live in a small village called Blijham in eastern Holland. I'm the alreayfy 14 years in the VW scene and drove various Golfs.. Midwolda is close by for most of the members of vwteampg so when there was an all car meeting we decided to go over there. A new indoor event in Holland with show cars,stockcars en lots op stands with carparts was held in Leeuwarden. It was very nice to see,only i missed the vw department.. In the beginning and end of the year,when the meetngs and the races are over. There's the vVijverbergtroffee on the TT circuit Assen. Yu pay 250 euro's and may race all day long with your car on the circuit. This time there was someone lots of you guy's know. The first VW Treffen in 2008 was organised by the boy's and girl from VW Forum holland. The location was Zwolle . Stroeve motorsport is a famous tuning compagny in holland with lots of cutum made things for vw's When he moved to a new location there was a open house so we could see al the news things he made. In the winter there are no big events on the TT circuit so almost every weekend there's an trackday.. You pay 250 euro and may race a hole day on the track with youre own car.. Its lots of fun to see cars like Porsche 911 gt3 or tvr blitzing down the circuit. In the winter There are lot of meet and greet meetings in Holland so the boy's and girls wont get bored. This one was in Emmen. We went over there with a posse of 12 cars and soon decided it was freezing cold so we quickly drove to the macDonalds over there.
