Our club sponsor held a open day and rented an dynojet. I was curious what the Weber brothers should do an some other teammates were also interested in what power there engines gave. Its not as big as the Wrc rally but in holland we have also a form of rally racing wit older types of kitcars. Its always a lot of fun to see the cars blitzing trough narrow corners and trough the dirt. My girlfriend lives nearby the TT circuit in Assen so when we heard some noise coming from the track we were curious and went there to see whats going on. It appeared that Porsche club Bremen had there yearly track day . Very nice to see all those Porsches Racing on the track. Here's a little impression. We where invited by the local VW garage to come to Musselkanaal with some clubcars. This we coudnt refuse. Its a big eventt with al brands and types of wheelde transport. GTI club Holland is the biggest VW cclub in the neterlands. Once a year they have an meeting in Ter-apel with sprints. Always an pleasure to go to this event. When i was on the Zandvoort track for the A1GP My fellow club members went to Germany's Varel to visit one of germany's top VW show. Lots of courgious cars over ther.. I think the pics say enough. Monsterjam..Big cars on big wheels that jump over cars. In the states its a hype,in europe we have some rebuilt tractors. Lucky for us the monsterjam series are in europe now and in oktober they visited Arnhem in Holland. What a sensation to see those things in action. I recomend it for every car and motorsport entusiast to go there. Here's a little impression. When VWteamPG was invited to to the its(international tuning show)in Zuidbroek we sent an deligation of 3 cars over there. Folchert with hisGolf MkI cabrio,Bernie with his Golf MkII 16v g60 and Willem with his Golf MkI 1900 8v Kronenburg tuned. When the rest of the posse arrivid,they also get a place in the the huge hall. 2 Clubmembers of vwteampg are organising for several yeares the VW mkI treffen in Assen Holland. It has grown to an international event with cars from Germany and Belgium. Only mkI golfs,jetta's,caddy's,polo's,cabrio's and scirocco's to see on the showground,other mk models are on the parkingplace. On the same day as the treffen in Hoogeveen from the members of hrs,there was an all car treffen in Assen. The distance between the 2 city's is 40 km's so we decided to visit 2 events on one day. The meeting of Hrs(Hoogeveen Racing Scene) is one of the most popular all car meetings in the northern region of Holland. Of course VWteamPG had to be there so we whent to Hoogeveen with 7 cars.
